Reconstruction of buildings in 1999- 2005

In 1998, we purchased from Colloredo-Mandsfeld family half-broken, totally destroyed and eco-laden historical listed buildings of the former Colloredo-Mandsfeld estate in Dobříš.

In 1999 we started a demanding reconstruction and rescue of 5 buildings. We used special technologies for dehumidifying the walls and floors, removed hazardous waste, and were dealing with various technical and administrative pitfalls.

In collaboration with Arch. Jaromír Špaček we managed to complete the reconstruction in 2005 and gave the historical object “new life and taste“. We funded the entire renovation and reconstruction from our own resources, without subsidies or help from the town or other institutions.
